So, I'm finally going to attempt to make a living off of my art. I feel like at 33 I should have had this in the bag by now, but it's never too late to pursue a dream, right?
At times I feel like I've missed out on a lot because I've been so worried about doing things wrong,...from sketches, to paintings,...to blogs. But how do you progress in life without challenges? So, here's to getting past feelings of self-doubt. Hopefully you guys will enjoy my blogging and art, and maybe I'll inspire a few along the way.
My plan is to have my first art show by next spring or summer. It's not going to be the easiest thing to pull off, but definitely doable. If you want to follow along and see how that pans out, it should be interesting : )
So, enough thinking and more doing. First things first, I need to get to painting more. I'm about halfway done with my first real painting in a long while. I'll be cranking out lots more in the next few months. The thought of it all is pretty exciting and scary...now let's just hope there are people out there that dig my art...
